Get Your Hands Dirty and Hearts Filled With Joy

Overview

This half-day long Zagorje tour will immerse you into the life of the northern Croatia countryside. The path takes us to a 40-min ride from Zagreb to the Breznički Hum area (hamlet of Gornji Hum) in the region of Zagorje. After arrival to Gornji Hum, we take a 15-min exploratory walk through the village, and to our homestead on the nearby hill.

After intro chill (welcome drink, restroom, etc.), we continue the Zagorje tour with lighting a fire and starting a traditional beans stew (veggie also available). Then we start a relaxed yet educative gardening workshop, immersing into activities such as planting, picking, preparing hay, and various others, depeding on the season.

Finally, we get to taste what the nature has cooked. The meal is served in the orchard, accompanied with our home-made elderberry juice, wine, light afternoon breeze, and the sunset on horizon.
