A team building inspired by the art of sponge diving
If you’re drawn to something different – adventurous, yet deeply relaxing – Whispering Adriatic is made for your team. On the tiny, picturesque Krapanj Island near the town of Šibenik, participants learn the basics of diving and explore the centuries-old tradition of harvesting Dalmata fina, one of the world’s most prized natural sea sponges. The program can include a historical diving reenactment, just as it was done 150 years ago, and a visit to the world’s first sponge farm.
The farm lies in the waters of another hidden island gem – Olib, near the town of Zadar. There, under the guidance of the Volo team, Croatia’s leading producer of premium natural sea sponges, you can even plant your own sponge. A unique way to connect with the sea, and with each other.
